Finding Good Deals at Etsy and Morris Mill Antiques

I am posting two good deals that I scored last week. One is acane bench that I got
on Esty for $75.00 bucks. It just came back from the upholsterer, it looks so cute.
The other is a pair of cane chairs that I found in Charottesville Sunday with my children.
We were looking around in Morris Mill Antiques, killing time while their Dad was in a
meeting. We scored a cute sage shabby chic coffee table for their Dad's den, it was
already on a sale and they gave us an extra 15% by calling the owner and I got a pair

of cane french dining chairs for $78.00. Will have fun finding a fun fabric for them.

Spring Fling

Monday I changed my windows for Spring. Thanks to the help of
Joseph. In the process of changing the windows, I decided to
do a floor move. Monday 17 boxes of new merchandise arrived!
Tuesday I was almost finished with my move and more boxes arrived.
Today I have finally finished, I really got a work out. I have never been
soooo tired. Did I mention that I also had customers in during my major

floor move, or should I call it a major mess.: )

Brighter Pictures

I am posting brighter pictures of the previous ones that I posted on the 6th. And a bonus one of Elfie, my Bichon Frise. The fabrics used in the Living Room are from Silk Loom and Jim Thompson Silks. The fabrics used in the Den are Waverly, AST and Brunschwig and Fils. Enjoy! Oh, I forgot to mention the Dining Room, this is a before picture. I am getting ready to paint it yellow, the plaid curtain fabric is Carlton V.

Color

This Spring it is all about the color. In the '90's I was all about color, but in a Traditional style. Big florals, primary colors and heavy furniture. In the Fan in Richmond, Va., my living room was hunter green, my dining
room was cobalt blue. In the early 2000's, I was into pastels in a brand new house. I wallpapered or repainted
every room in in new bolder colors with the exception of the Living and Dining Room area which I lighted to a pale blue and painted the ceiling robins egg blue. I again went with bolder colors in the home I had on my own
in Richmond and on my move to Staunton I have carried the same theme, only even bolder. I think the new fabric trends and the colors of each Spring have inspired me. I am giving nothing up for Lent, I am adding something, COLOR, BOLD,COLOR! Enjoy pictures of my colors. Sorry if some are a little dark, I hate overhead lights. Think Walmart.
