Is Fall Finally Here

My favorite time of year is Fall, I think it finally arrived here to day at
noon thanks to the newest storm. It had been hot and steamy for days which
makes it hard to figure out what to wear. I have been working on my Fall
wardrobe  by donating to Goodwill, listing things on Ebay and consigning pieces
to Twice As Nice. I really need new shoes, so I took advantage of my free shipping
on Amazon Prime. I was ordering my ink for my printer and remembered that they
have cute shoes. I wasn't finding anything locally so I ordered three pairs with my ink
purchase on Saturday.

A black patent to go with my mainly black wardrobe.

And a snakeskin pair to put a little punch in my wardrobe.

They arrived Tuesday and today which is really fast. Today after a half drapery installation,
we hung the hardware, I will post about the finished look later once the panels go up. The
job was in Stuarts Draft, so after the job was done I drove into Waynesboro to Ross for Less
and found this;

A cute Fall purse and scarf.

The purse is Vegan and the handles have a tortoise loop detail. The scarf is hand emdroidered
and I love the colors.

I have a big birthday weekend planned so I will be able to wear some of my new purchases
as the weather cools down. Yay, Fall

Shopping Spree

Last week I took a rainy morning off and went on a little shopping spree. The pictures are
not great, but you get the zest. i was on a mission for a straw summer bag. I went back to
Ross for Less to see a cute straw bag I had seen there before, it was gone. But I did find a
few cute tops on clearance.

This sheer top is so cute and at $8.95 it is a steal.

Here is the cute denim shirt, me wearing it new and after it was washed and not ironed. Really
cute sleeves, love the embroidery and tassels. And I scored a cute pair of black sandles.

 I did find the perfect straw bag that I had seen before at Target, it is very cute and made well.

I also scored some clearance jewelry at TJ Maxx, I am a girl that loves a steal. 14KT drop
earrings in a blue stone, 14kt gold hoop earrings and a pretty mint jade and clear quartz necklace
that brings reflection, grounding, and comfort.

Enough spending for now, the first is near and bills are due!

Staging at The Villages at Staunton

Today I finished a three part project of staging #203 The Bindery Condominium
at The Villages at Staunton. The first step was a quick staging in a two hour time
from, then a walk through with the owner Robin Miller, to see what else he wanted
done. And today was a finishing up before all the investors arrive tomorrow. Here is
what it looks like.

You are looking at an open floor plan with an entry way that opens up into one
big floor plan. Alcoves set off different seating areas with a bright living room, a
dining room and a sun room. We started off by using there beautiful Oriental Rugs
to divide up the spaces. The owner has several of these projects in Virginia and a
previous decorator did the staging jobs for them, so I have a dairy barn on site full
of goodies to choose from. I tried to pick the best furniture and accessories for this
job.

I did purchase the bedding at Ross for Less, need to go there more often, $30.00 for
a six piece Queen Set!

I used the reds, golds and creams for the accent colors and browns and blacks
for the furniture colors. All this blends well with the gorgeous Oriental rugs. I
tried to mix the furniture styles up a little bit to make it relaxed and inviting. I had
great pieces to choose from!

 The condo has beautiful big windows that let in lots of light and great views of
downtown Staunton and the old buildings of The Western State Hospital. Next post,
