Welcome to September

As we get ready for Fall and we enter into September, we are starting to see the temperatures

drop and the last of the summer blooms before fall.

My mom came over for wine one afternoon and brought me tomatoes and her Zinnias
that I added to my four. The colors are so intense and beautiful.

And speaking of flowers, I sold an antique flower book that I listed on ebay, the pictures
were stunning.

What is Happening in August

This is what I saw when I went out to take a few pictures of my flowers, he is next to the bird feeder.

Now that it is the end of August, my flowers are started to go to seed, but not my Zinnias. This is
when they really start to shine and show their blooms.

I have one last window to do for my client in Richmond. This is a large bathroom window
and we are doing a flat gathered Roman shade in Bunschwig and Fils Les Touche in pink.
We decided to add a ball fringe to the bottom of the shade and I had one on hand that might
work, but I ordered a couple more that will have pink in them. They should arrive soon but
the mail is really slow these days.
I don't know about you but August is flying by.

Farmers Market Flowers

Thursday I was on my way up Beverely Street to the grocery store. I get
stuck at the red light and I see the Farmers Market going on the my left
at the light at Grubert and Beverley in the empty parking lot to the left.
Lots of pop up tents and then I see the one calling my name. This tent had
a table of beautiful flower bouquets, buckets of sunflowers and fresh veggies.
After my grocery store run, I thought I would check this place out for myself.
I think the sign said Thursdays, 4-7, one entrance and one exit, you must wear a mask
and you purell  your hands before you go in and you can use a credit card!

I bought a vase of all white flowers for $15 dollars. Bells of Ireland, Zinnias, Snap
Dragons. Just beautiful, plus the vase fits in your drink holder, no spillage.

Where to go: West Beverly Street Farmers Market, next to Stella Mia. Thursdays 4-7.
Flowers, Vegetables, Jellies and Jams and Artists.

Say Good Bye to Summer

These Zinnias are my last blooms of the summer.

And my rose bush has made a comeback at the end of the summer.
And to end this, the last fabric pick for my client in the Fan.
The AC is off, the nights are getting cooler and my favorite time of year is coming.
